Incorporated in 2017 at Toronto, Ontario Canada, CAN PAY BILLS INC is a service and solutions provider for Philippine bills. We process data information on billing statement of Philippine merchants and companies. We handle posting of payments and operates on a technology that makes direct payment to more than 200 merchants and companies. We have proven to be successful in the bills payment operations since 2017.

We started from utility bills payment, food orders, and expanded to social security contribution and loan payments. This transforms us to a solutions provider on challenges to paying Philippine bills from Canada.

WHY WE EXIST

CAN PAY BILLS INC., exist because we found out there is a need to offer a bills payment service and solution provider in Canada to the Philippines.

We found out that money sent to the Philippines to pay a bill were mis-used, appropriated wrongly and spent on non-intended reasons. All these leaves bills unpaid, accounts are over due and ends up requesting another fund.

Thus, we offer a solution, PAYBILLS from Canada, PAID in the PHILIPPINES.

HOW IT WORKS

PRESENT YOUR STATEMENT

Present a recent billing statement. The billing company, account name and number, amount due and due date are necessary information needed to process the settlement.

PROCESS DATA INFORMATION

Using our software system, data information are processed on a secured and encrypted line, connecting to the account holders of the billing company.

ACCOUNT SET UP

A Client Account is set up tailored to the billing companies being requested for payment.

PAYMENT POSTED

In an instant, the request for payment is posted onto the account holder of the billing company.

WHAT DO I NEED IN REQUESTING TO SETTLE PHILIPPINE BILLS

The Billing Company, Account Name, Account Number, Billing Amount and Due Date are the necessary information. For accuracy, a copy of the current billing statement would be helpful to post the request for payment to the correct account.

WHAT FEE IS EXPECTED IN USING A BILLS PAYMENT SERVICE PROVIDER

A minimal Service Fee will be collected to cover administration and operation of services. A Posting Fee will be charged on each bills payment for posting to the Billing company. And a GST/HST will also be collected.

WHAT DO I NEED TO MAKE A BILLS PAY A GROCERY (temporarily not available)

The Beneficiary Name with complete delivery address and contact number is needed. The Merchant such as Supermarket, Department Store, Food Company and Restaurant is required to claim the grocery voucher or food certificate. Select the Merchant nearest to the beneficiary address to facilitate claiming of grocery voucher and fast delivery of food order.

HOW CAN I PAY THE PESO AMOUNT WITH CANADIAN DOLLAR

A Multiplier Rate will be the basis for paying the Peso amount. The Multiplier Rate will be an approximate conversion of currency indicative to arrive at the Philippine Peso which the Billing Company will receive. The Multiplier Rate will change without prior notice.

Payment can be done thru e-transfer and/or cash method.

OUR STORY

CAN PAY BILLS story started in 2017, when my mother was admitted to a hospital in Iloilo City for an operation. From Toronto, I called the hospital's billing department and offered to settle the bill. The hospital declined because they have no facility to accept payments outside the Philippines.

This obstacle opened up an oppurtunity - what if there is a facility in Canada that process payment for bills in the Philippines. Research, interviews and a workshop on start up business leads me to the establishment of a payment center that can transmit data information, process billing information and post payments to merchants in the Philippines.

In September 2017, CAN PAY BILLS INC was incorporated offering a facility that accepts request for payments on Philippine bills

At present, anyone who needs to pay a bill can now request to settle Philippine bills from Canada.

OUR FOUNDER

RAMON SOLIS

Mon” as he is fondly called, is a visionary with more than 15 years of business management experience. A humanitarian with 10 years of tutelage from a Notre Dame school in southern Philippines and a graduate of the University of Philippines.

After being denied to make a payment for his mother’s hospital bill, founder Ramon Solis made it his mission to provide a facility in Canada that allows paying for Philippine bills. Unable to find a payment center in Toronto he decided to create a facility for his own use. One that is not limited to hospital bills, but also accepts utility bills, grocery bills, and unique payments.

With a successful career in developing business partners and championing brand awareness in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Winnipeg and a combined 7 years branch management position, this pushed him to establish a payment processing facility.

Combined with a solid foundation in promoting the welfare of others, he has infused his care for humanity, building friendship and better relations for the benefit of all.
